Meet Jesal and Rochard. We are the Transatlantic Rebels.

In Episode 16, we take a look at Gorillaz and their entire discography, mainly focusing on "Gorillaz" (2001), "Demon Days" (2005) and "Plastic Beach" (2010).

We also talk about the time Rochard saw Gorillaz live in concert; discuss our favourite five tracks from each LP; talk Virtual Reality technology; and we try to imagine what their new forthcoming album could be like.

Jesal is from the UK, and Rochard is from America. We like to talk in depth about albums, films, TV shows and books.

Rochard has a background in TV, acting, writing and many other areas of art creation. Jesal has a background in music: DJ, producer, artist, critic and other stuff.

Meet Jesal and Rochard. We are the Transatlantic Rebels. But this week, we have a very special guest... Kage Sparks.

In Episode 15, we conclude our three-part series of podcasts featuring some amazing guests - last up is rapper Kage Sparks talking about one of his favourite albums ever: "The Great Adventures of Slick Rick" by Slick Rick (1988).

We talk about why Kage and Jesal admire this album so much; contrast story-telling rap styles with Charles Darwin; explain why Slick Rick is almost always your favourite rapper's favourite rapper; and look forward to a potential live show.

COMPETITION: We are giving away a free ticket to the Slick Rick gig in London on Saturday November 26th 2016... Yes, seriously! Listen to the podcast for full details and act quickly.

Many thanks to Kage Sparks for being a truly fantastic guest - you can get at him here:

Meet Jesal and Rochard. We are the Transatlantic Rebels. But this week, we have two very special guests... Casey Rain and Kim Camilia.

In Episode 14, we continue our special three-part series of podcasts featuring some amazing guests - and next up are Casey Rain and Kim Camilia talking about one of their favourite Prince albums ever: the hugely slept-on "Come" by Prince (1994).

We talk about how this album was released in the middle of a gigantic artist/label argument; ponder on how it somehow topped the UK album charts; contrast it to "The Gold Experience"; plus Nas, Rihanna, Britney and tumble dryers are also covered.

Many thanks to Casey and Kim for being truly fantastic guests - you can get at them here:

Meet Jesal and Rochard. We are the Transatlantic Rebels.

In Episode 12, our special Star Wars Prequels series consisting of in-depth past reviews concludes with the final part of the Prequel Trilogy "Episode III - Revenge of the Sith" from 2005.

We talk about how this movie is hugely misunderstood; why the lightsaber battles are so amazing; brotherhood and the loss of friends to the Dark Side; West Wing; and try with all of our might not to get emotional about Order 66. Also, for some insane reason Rochard actively wants to give you $100. Seriously!
